Thompson Books Publishing is an independent Melbourne publishing business founded by Poppy Thompson. We believe stories can open new worlds, nurture imagination and create treasured reading experiences for children and their families.

How we work

  • A considered list. We publish a small number of titles each year so every book receives full attention.
  • Craft on every page. Writing, illustration and design are developed together, not bolted on.
  • Readers at the centre. Books are tested with the children and families they are made for.
